Today is another gorgeous, sunny day in Southern California. We were excited and yet a little apprehensive because of not knowing what to expect today. There are swimmers from all over the world ie Austrailia, Ukraine, Russia, Canada, Japan, France are just to name a few. Caleb seemed to be in his element talking with Dalton Herendeen and others that he has met in the past. The meet was rather slow moving with a lot of technical issues. People sitting around us said that it was very unusual to have so many timing issues. Caleb had one event today, the 50 Fly. He did great and was in the top 5 in his classification. This was even after a slow start off the wall. He said he couldn't hear the starter say "take your mark" which kinda confused him. In the end, we found out he had been disqualified because his arms did not come out of water together at the end. Caleb took it well and said "I swim tomorrow." He's amazing. Caleb & Gary went to the finals to cheer on Dalton and others. Thanks for reading!
